VOLUNTEER AWARDS – THE BOWNESS ‘NESSIES
Many of the services offered by the BCA are only possible through the time, energy and passion of our volunteers. For this we are extremely grateful. The annual Spirit of Bowness Volunteerism Awards presented at our Annual General Meeting in October each year recognizes inspiring individuals or groups that exemplify volunteerism within Bowness in three categories:
BCA Individual: The ‘Nessie – This individual has volunteered specifically for the Bowness Community Association and has shown passion throughout the year.
Community Contributor: The Neighbourhood ‘Nessie Award – This individual has made contributions throughout the community of Bowness at various organizations, events or on their own for their neighbours and neighbourhood.
Group Volunteerism: The Tribal ‘Nessie Award – This group, organization or business has volunteered their time and efforts in creating a better Bowness as a group.
To nominate someone or some organization that has made a significant contribution to you, the community or your organization, please come by the office for an application form.
