Ripples is a small grants that may be able to make your ideas happen. Designed to kick start community based projects, Ripples is for Bowness residents who want to organize an event or initiative that connects people and fosters a stronger community. Depending on the size and scope of your project, the grants range from $50 to $600.

“Many creative ideas have come from people right in your own community. More than 50 projects have been supported by United Way including collective kitchens, volunteer-led English classes, swimming classes for isolated seniors, writing workshops and a youth community clean up.” – United Way
